Thanks. All of Herbie’s many friends are saddened by this news.
I can’t recall either Herbie ever being anything but a jovial guy. He was fun to be around. We shared some interests.
Please keep me posted.

Cappy – My name is Mitch Seymour, and I am Herb’s nephew. I wanted to let you know that he passed away yesterday while on a fishing trip with his brother-in-law. I know you are a close member of his extended ND family. I’m sure that there will be a future mass service at ND in which we request his remembrance. If you’d like, I can keep you in the circle of notices for such an event. Thank you for being his friend….

My name is Marti Seymour wife of Ed ('66) and sister-in-law of Herb Seymour ('66). Sadly, I am writing to tell you that Herb died today (May 30). It was very sudden. He was fishing in northern Michigan. Cappy, he spoke of you often. I knew you would like to know.
