Alumna of Notre Dame, Mary Eiberger, is the proud daughter of her father, also an Alumnus of Notre Dame, Carl F. Eiberger Jr. Mary has many memories of her father. But perhaps her greatest memory, is that Carl saved a mountain in Jeffco Open Space from becoming a rock quarry.

As a dedication to his efforts, the area has been named Carl’s Point on South Table Mountain in Jefferson County. Carl was an attorney who donated free legal service for decades to this effort. They held a Commemoration for Carl F. Eiberger Jr. on Sunday, June 6th, at Carl's Point.
