Service Event at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank

On Saturday, May 22, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to noon, six volunteers from the Notre Dame Club of Los Angeles joined with other volunteers at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. We were warmly welcomed by the Food Bank, then sorted, bagged, and boxed oranges. These oranges will be distributed to individuals and families in need as well as to schools, shelters, soup kitchens, and multiple partner agencies that serve those experiencing hunger. All together, the volunteers sorted 14,475 pounds of oranges!

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is located at 1734 East 41st Street in Los Angeles.
