For his outstanding ministry as a priest in the Archdiocese of Piura, Peru, Rev. Joseph Uhen ’80 is honored with this award. Since 1993, he has been the pastor and only priest serving at Santisímo Sacremento Parish, caring for 40,000 faithful. Fr. Uhen’s many friends and schoolmates in the States have heard the call to help build homes, staff medical missions, and feed the needy through his Family to Family program which allows sponsors from around the world to financially and spiritually assist over 1400 families.
