Interesting list, but I think one of the top 4-5 was omitted...

Archie Griffin winning two Heismans and Tebow winning as a soph and Manziel winning as a frosh are all great feats, but I don’t see how those events “changed football forever”.  The big missing event was Knute Rockne’s “Win One for the Gipper” speech.  It is way more memorable and, as the prototypical coaching pep talk, it represents all the many devices coaches have used to guide their teams to upsets.
