I’m fortunate to have three of my four sons (and eight of the 12 grandkids) nearby in Orange County. While I wish my #2 son Timothy Sean, a double-Domer, still lived close, at least he’s in Chicago as the CFO of The Walsh Group, a major donor of the university. It allows Carol and I the opportunity to see our other four grandkids several times a year, visit friends where we both grew up (ND Niles and Bishop Noll Hammond) and make an occasional trip to campus.

It seems that most every trip nowadays includes a luncheon with a few of the ND Dons planning for the 50th reunion, such as the photo below with (L-R) myself, John Devona, Jim Blum, John Zei (Loyola Chicago) and Ray Neihengen.
