On Sunday, May 23, 2021, 7 members of our club met at the beautiful outside grounds of the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh.  With a brisk pace set by Dan Gerlach, we covered nearly 4.5 miles over the course of about 90 minutes.  Although we were a small group, the age range represented was nearly 60 years!  It was unusually hot for mid-May, but with good company and the bottles of water many of us brought, we did well and enjoyed each other’s company.  We began with a Native American commentary about the spiritual aspects of the natural world, and we concluded with a traditional Catholic prayer of thanks and supplication for various needs and concerns called out by the folks in attendance.
