NDCNJ February 2020 Newsletter

Dear Friends and Fellow Alums,

Happy New Year! Sure we celebrated a month ago, but who doesn’t love a good party? The arrival of the Lunar New Year gave us a chance to celebrate again this past week. Thanks to all who came out and joined for wonderful food and great conversation! This was the start of what we hope will be several get-togethers this year to celebrate the diversity of our region and our club. Next up, join us in two weeks as we mark Black History Month. Scroll down to read more about some of the exciting events we have coming up!

Upcoming events:

Celebrating Diversity: Find out more about Black History Month at the Rutgers-Marion Thompson Wright Lecture Series on Saturday, February 15th at the Rutgers Newark Campus. Now in its 40th year, the lecture series has brought to Newark leading voices in African American History to explore the past as a means of bringing about brighter futures. Speakers are featured throughout the day. Following the 4pm presentation, we’ll head to dinner at the Bon Jovi Community Soul Kitchen on the Rutgers Newark Campus.
