Letter from the Executive Director: June 19, 2025
Dear Alumni, Parents, and Friends,
After a busy month between Commencement, welcoming the Class of 2025 to the alumni ranks, and celebrating with a few thousand of our closest friends at Reunion, we’ve finally settled into the slower rhythms of summer here on our beloved campus.
I personally love the hustle and bustle of the school year, when campus is alive and buzzing with the students, faculty, and staff who work daily to make Notre Dame a place that moves the world forward. But I'm also thankful for the unhurried pace of June and July. These weeks offer a respite — a chance to step back, recharge, and prepare to pursue our big dreams for the year ahead.
Whether it's over the summer, around the holidays, or at other times throughout the year, I'd love to hear how you take advantage of moments for rest. If you're a regular reader of this newsletter, it won't surprise you that my plans include a trip to visit family and friends back home in South Dakota; I can't wait!
All the best,
Dolly Duffy '84
