Letter from the Executive Director: May 1, 2025
Dear Alumni, Parents, and Friends,
Yesterday, students attended their final classes of the spring semester. This time of year always makes me a little nostalgic so, with finals approaching, I got to thinking about the days when our biggest worries were getting through our next exam.
Study spots will be a hot commodity on campus over the next few days. For me, the carrels on the second floor of the library were my top pick to prep for a test or write a paper. There, I could focus when needed but also take a break for some much-needed socialization here and there. The space has changed over the years. Today, there’s more open table seating and — of course — computer stations, but I still think the second floor would be my first choice.
What was your go-to spot to focus on campus? Whether a well-known location or one off the beaten path, I’d love to hear about it!
All the best,
