Domer Dozen Nominations Now Open!
The Notre Dame Alumni Association and YoungND board are now accepting nominations for the 2025 Domer Dozen. Now in its seventh year, the Domer Dozen is a recognition initiative that celebrates the achievements of 12 young alumni (ages 32 and under) for their significant contributions and extraordinary dedication in the areas faith, service, learning, and/or work.
Nominations are open until May 2.
The YoungND board and a panel of University faculty and staff will review the nominations and select the 2025 honorees. Nominations for the Domer Dozen should be made by peers, faculty members, employers, family, or others who know the nominee well. Self-nominations are not accepted.
Domer Dozen awardees must display extraordinary dedication to being forces for good in the world, having already made significant contributions in the areas representing at least one of the four core tenets of the Association’s mission statement:
- Faith: Recognizing and honoring those that have drawn inspiration from Catholic intellectual and moral traditions in order to galvanize God’s people
- Service: Recognizing and honoring those who have promoted human dignity, pursued the common good, and stood in solidarity with the marginalized and poor
- Learning: Recognizing and honoring those who have used scholarship to engage with and to better the world
- Work: Recognizing and honoring those who have discerned, discovered, and pursued meaningful work in order to be forces for good.
The Domer Dozen is a signature initiative of YoungND, a Notre Dame Alumni Association group. Established in July 2018, the 16-person board represents the interests of and steers programming for young Notre Dame graduates.
