NDWC Inaugural Retreat - “Called to be Daughters of God”

Apr 01, 2020

Notre Dame Women Connect invites you to campus to step back, reflect, and renew through our new retreat program – Called to be Daughters of God. This is a unique opportunity to reconnect with your Notre Dame spirituality during a day of prayer and reflection on campus.

The retreat will be Sunday, June 2, 2019 and invites alumnae to grow in their faith and enjoy fellowship together. No matter your season in life or where you are in your faith journey, all are welcome! Here’s a quick Q & A about details:

What will the retreat include? This year’s retreat theme is “Beatitudes for Women.” The event will begin with an optional Mass and include presentations, opportunities for individual reflection and/or group discussion (participants can choose the option that fits best for them), and a group lunch.

What’s the schedule? The retreat will be held Sunday June 2nd and is scheduled to begin at 9am (Mass may begin earlier) and conclude mid-afternoon.

What’s the specific location? Coleman-Morse right on South Quad.

What’s the cost? There is a $40 fee to offset the cost of meals and logistics.

Can I stay overnight Saturday? Yes. Dorm rooms will be available for retreat participants Saturday night at a cost of $35 per person in a double and $70 per single room. Participants are also welcome to make their own lodging reservations at a local hotel.

The retreat is scheduled for reunion weekend. Do I have to be a reunion participant to go to the retreat? No. All alumnae are welcome whether it is your reunion year or not.

I am attending reunion with an ND grad but am not an alum. Can I attend the retreat? Yes!

How can I sign up? Click here to register. (Those who register for reunion will also have the opportunity to register for the retreat using a link that will be provided after completing reunion registration.)

We hope to see many of you on campus for the retreat! Still have questions? Please see additional FAQs here or feel free to email ndwc.spirituality@alumni.nd.edu.
