ND Women Connect Newsletter: January 2020

Jan 02, 2020

Happy New Year, alumnae! NDWC is excited to announce Our Hearts Forever, a new service and spirituality initiative that invites alumnae to learn, pray, and act together. Check out all the details in the article below.

In this issue, Mary Ann (Madden) Hoffman '73 remembers what it was like to be the lone woman in class in the early 1970s. You'll also meet ND's first female firefighters, learn how ThinkND can enrich your intellectual life, and find out how you can participate in the 9th Shared Reading Experience of Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption by Bryan Stevenson. It's the perfect time to join (or start!) an NDWC book club - let the women of NDWC Greater DuPage County, Illinois show you how.

If you’ve resolved to be more involved with ND and other alumnae, we’ve got you covered. Consider a role with the NDWC National Board - read on for information about joining this dynamic all-volunteer group.

Keep in touch - if you know an alumna, student, professor, or group that we should profile, please let me know!

Go Irish!
