The 2025 ND Football Season Preview

We welcomed Pete Samspson of The Athletic Back to Denver!

Once again, Pete Sampson headlined a record breaking room of attendance at Original Brooklyn's to present his unique insights into Notre Dame Football and his thoughts about the upcoming 2025 season. Pete has been our repeat guest in Denver for 12 years to talk Irish football. His presentation is in the form of a lively question and answer session with the crowd; insightful and well prepared as always, Pete echoed a lot of Notre Dame fan sentiment that Irish success will hinge largely on the outcome of the first two games.

We were also treated to an impromptu interview with David Bruton, Jr., former Notre Dame great and hard hitting safety who was on the Broncos Super Bowl 50 Championship team.

This will be the last Pete Sampson visit under Jerry’s direction and it will be undertaken by Club Director Michael Naughton.

The Force Was With Us - With a little Luck of the Irish

Luck of the Irish?

A dedicated group of NDCD club members brought "The Luck of the Irish" to Coors Field on Saturday, July 19th to watch the 23-73 Colorado Rockies BEAT the visiting Minnesota Twins! The group helped cheer on the Rockies beginning with a pre-game event at Tom’s Watch Bar (official home to our 2025 NDCD football gamewatches). We welcomed a few of our newest Denver residents and recent graduates to connect with fellow club members prior to heading over the stadium. Our group summoned some of our best Jedi mind tricks on Star Wars night at the Ballpark to spur on the crew and a Rockies win. The evening was a great highlight for the Club...and the Rockies!

ND Women Connect Wellness Day

ND Women’s Connect gathered for a day of self-care and wellness on Saturday July 19th. NDCD Board member and 2005 alum Claire Kenkel taught a beginner Pilates Reformer class for seven Alumnae, including two recent grads. The group was joined by three female NDBridge students currently volunteering in Denver who educated attendees on the mission of their local organizations. The event also featured all natural self-care products hand-made by EarthLinks, and participants supported the non-profit through purchases of soaps, sugar scrubs, candles, tea, honey and more. Special thanks to NDCD Board Member and ND Women Connect Chair Lori Christiansen for providing healthy treats and coordinating with the NDBridge students. The NDCD is also grateful to Uncommon Practice Pilates studio in The Highlands neighborhood for hosting us!

NDCD's *Send Off Mass* for Incoming Grad + Undergrad Students

Notre Dame Family at 5280: Let's gather for a mass to celebrate the incoming class of undergraduates and graduate students headed to South Bend this fall! This send off mass is open to all Notre Dame Family!

Come celebrate the incoming classes to ND, SMC and HC
This is a family friendly event!
Holy Family Catholic Church in Denver has welcomed us to participate as special guests in their 4pm anticipatory mass on Saturday, August 2nd
Father Pat Dolan (a big ND fan) will preside
We will have our own reserved pews at the church for our group
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get situated
You do not have to be a practicing Catholic to attend the mass - all faith denominations are welcome and encouraged to attend
Following the mass, Holy Family has lent us their Parish Hall to do a special meet-up for a meet and greet and a small Q&A and Parent Panel for incoming students and their families
The NDCD is sponsoring post mass refreshments
Yes! You can attend both Send Off events (this mass on Saturday 8/2 and our Student Send-Off on Thursday, August 7th.

Notre Dame Family at 5280: Come welcome the incoming class of undergraduates and graduates staring their Notre Dame journey this fall! Let's give the a resounding send-off to South Bend! This send off celebration is open to all Notre Dame Family!

NDCD is sponsoring heavy appetizers + lemonade and soda
Q&A and Parent Panel for incoming students and their families
Mini ND bookstore to "gear up"
Yes! You can attend both send-off events! Saturday, 8/2 Send-off mass at Holy Family Catholic Church and this send-off event at Stanley Beer Hall

We have a reserved spot at Stanley Beer Hall in Stanley Marketplace and this is a drop-in event for everyone!

Once you arrive at the venue, they host will check ID's and also set you and your party up to partake in their awesome drink menu.
