LET’S ROOT ON THE IRISH - BEAT THE CARDINALS
Saturday, September 28
Kick off at 1:30 p.m.

NDCD Football Game Watch Party is this Saturday. Watch the Irish take down the University of Louisville Cardinals at home at Notre Dame Stadium. As always, the location will be Tom’s Watch Bar at Coors Field.
NOTE - THIS WEEK’S GAME WILL BE CARRIED ON PEACOCK ONLY!
Kick off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Denver time. See you at Tom’s on Saturday.
Please arrive 20 to 30 minutes before kickoff so that the staff can get our dedicated space turned over from prior patrons. Our dedicated space at Tom's does not open until 15 minutes prior to ND kickoff time. Also our space is open seating so you may be sharing a long table or a high top with fellow Irish fans! We do have a drink special - $1 off on all beers during our game watch time. Please ask your server when you order!
SPECIAL NOTE FOR THIS WEEK’S WATCH PARTY
We will be collecting food and monetary donations for Meals With Muffet at the Watch Party! See the information about Meals With Muffet below and also ask the Watch Party host for additional information on how to help!

If you want to park there, see these detailed instructions; it is necessary to follow the instructions to get a discounted rate. You can also reserve and pay for a spot right now on the Spot Hero app, which is a really impressive piece of technology. (Atrium is not on the app, so I park at the Dairy Block Garage, a block away.)
BRING: Money for the traditional door prizes, and a designated Domer-driver; those $1 off 22-ounce drafts for our club don’t drink themselves!
LIGHT RAIL: three blocks from Union Station! Several people, including seniors, have commented that the walk from Union Station to Tom’s Watch Bar is very easy:

Last week v. Miami: Well, the first 35% of the game was pretty forgettable.
On to Louisville:
Louisville is pretty good. We lost to them last year, so at least ND is not going to be overlooking them. They are off to a 3-0 start and are looking to earn a repeat trip back to the ACC Championship Game.
They are a run-first team, which is not great for ND as we had issues stopping the run against Miami, at least at first. They rely on this to open up a play action passing game. They run a LOT of play action. Their skill position players are fast and, well, skilled. Expect them to have a lot of explosive plays (they are top three in the country in this respect.
That said, Notre Dame’s pass defense is much better than anything they have faced all season, so it will be interesting to see how it plays out.
