UND Celebrations

What began in 1924 as an annual radio broadcast to Notre Dame Clubs to share the “State of the University,” Universal Notre Dame Celebrations are evolving and focusing on the unique character of Notre Dame that bonds us as a community.

Notre Dame Clubs across the country host a Universal Notre Dame (UND) Celebration once a year.  This flagship Notre Dame Alumni Association event provides local alumni, friends, and family an opportunity to connect with the University via keynote speakers and to celebrate their local club’s accomplishments.

The speakers who represent the University are experienced and impressive administrators, faculty and staff who come from all departments within the University.  Together they participate in more than 145 UND Celebrations each year.

This year's theme is ND Traditions and celebrates Notre Dame Traditions past and present.

Notre Dame is a place steeped in traditions big and small, some decades old; some started just a few years ago. Whether we are graduates or fans, on campus or at a game watch, these traditions bring us together to celebrate our common bond, Our Lady’s University.
