Excellence in Teaching Conference 2014

October 24-26, 2014

Join us on campus October 24-26 for the 2014 Excellence in Teaching Conference.  This award-wining conference will offer hands-on training from some of the country’s leading education experts and has expanded this year to include four distinct workshops:

• Making Technology Work for You and Your Students: Solutions for Diverse Classroom Needs
• Activity-, Project-, Problem-Based (APB) Learning
• Improving College Persistence by Developing Students’ Noncognitive Skills
• Finding Hidden Value: A Framework with Strategies for Effective Assessment to Improve Student Learning

This year's conference promises to be an exciting combination of innovation, Notre Dame inspiration and immersion. All K-12 teachers and administrators from public, Catholic, and private schools nationwide, not just Notre Dame alumni are invited to attend.

The registration fee includes all conference workshops and materials, the Friday workshop dinner, continental breakfast both mornings, and Saturday lunch. Accommodations are not included in the registration fee, but more information is available on the logistics page.

For more information regarding the conference, registration and teacher sponsorship, please contact the Notre Dame Alumni Association’s Academic Programs team by phone at (574) 631-8693 or via email at alumaced@nd.edu
