friendships that can last a lifetime. Participants perform approximately 5 hours of service each day at South Bend area non-profit organizations such as the Center for the Homeless and St. Margaret’s House. Registration for the Family Volunteer Camp 2016 Lottery is now open. The cost will be $430 per person, which covers all meals, snacks, housing, and activities. Some of the money is also used for project supplies needed for work at the nonprofit sites. Transportation to service sites is not included, although there are generally some seats available in other participants’ vehicles for families who fly and do not rent a car. In general, we rely on participants to drive themselves to and from work sites. Detailed directions and maps are provided.
